Multistate Bar Examination (The MBE)
The MBE ia a six-hour exam (two sessions of three hours each), with 200 multiple-choice questions
on Contracts, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Evidence, and Real Property, and Torts.
2003 Test Dates: February 26 and July 30.

Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (The MPRE)
The MPRE is a two-hour, 50-question multiple-choice exam, given three times each year.
2003 Test Dates:
Saturday, March 8 (Monday, March 10 for Saturday Sabbath observers who make prior arrangements) -- Late application must be received by February 13.

Friday, November 7

Multistate Essay Examination (The MEE)
The MEE is a three-hour essay exam, with six questions covering
Agency & Partnership, Commercial Paper, Conflict of Laws, Corporations, Decedents' Estates,
Family Law, Federal Civil Procedure, Sales, Secured Transactions, and Trusts & Future Interests.
2003 Test Dates: February 25 and July 29.

Describes the MEE, and includes outlines of the subjects tested, and sample questions.

Multistate Performance Test (The MPT)
The MPT is comprised of three 90-minute skills questions covering
legal analysis, fact analysis, problem solving, resolution of ethical dilemmas,
organization and management of a lawyering task, and communication.
2003 Test Dates: February 25 (February 27 in New Jersey) and July 29 (July 31 in New Jersey).
